What is the Leaders Club?

The Leaders Club is a European association of innovative caterers and their partners in industry, divided according to country. To date we have members in France, Belgium and Germany, and, since 2003, also in Switzerland. Clubs are in course of foundation in Spain and Scandinavia.

The aim of the Leaders Clubs is to offer members a platform for mutual exchange and communication, with a strong European orientation.

Founded in 1993 in France, in 1999 in Belgium and in 2001 in Germany, the aim is the promotion of the catering industry and its image with the public. Every November our awards event is held to reward innovative gastronomic concepts with the Palmes du Leader award. Continuous training in the form of specialist study trips, regular meetings and cross-border information exchanges are an important part of club life.

Charitable work is another important aspect of our activities. The various clubs organise at least one campaign a year, in Germany achieving a volume of donations of over € 20,000.00, which went to the Tabaluga and Peter Maffay Foundation.
