Sure of a great catch – the new fish sticks

Fans of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine will be equally enthusiastic about the new fish stick creations. For the first time, SALOMON FoodWorld is presenting a fish from the Pangasiidae family – the filet of the exotic pangasius. Its robust meat is white, firm and juicy, as well as being particularly mild in flavour. Its low fat content and the particularly simple handling make it one of the most popular fish imports into Germany.

SALOMON places enormous importance on the selection of its supply partners in Vietnam. The raw produce processed for the fish sticks originates in a special “Pure Pangasius“ programme, for which the “Agifish Pure Pangasius Union“ (APPU) was founded. This union guarantees a particularly high quality and product safety as well as controlled breeding.

Both frozen sticks are ideal as toppings for crisp salads or as a main meal, for example with vegetables and rice. On the buffet, or the campaign menu too, the new fish sticks are a successful variant for nutrition-conscious diners.
